CORKY CARPENTER
STARDAY 134
MY HEART WOULD LIKE TO KNOW            75
Carpenter tells his girl to make up her mind whether she wants him or not, since he is tired of being in suspense. This is a very attractive hunk of material, with a fresh lyric and a cute bouncy rhythm spelled on a banjo.

CHAPEL OF MEMORIES                                                                                                             74
Returning to the place where he was married, the singer reminisces that it holds for him. Carpenter does this melancholy ballad a tasty, emotionally effective reading.

DISCOGRAPHY compiled by DICK GRANT, AL TURNER, DAVE SAX & PHIL TRICKER.

1970-2016.
